is comparison
a thief of joy ?

Comparison is a thief of joy,
when ignorant of how Jesus sees you.
You incline to believe the devil, who
brings pain, lie about lack and death.

🔥 But many who are the greatest now
will be least important then,
and those who seem least important now
will be the greatest then. Matthew 19:30

Comparison IS NOT a thief of joy.
When you compare others with yourself,
one that usually brings
you down to earth; humility.

🔥 Don’t be selfish;
don’t try to impress others.Be humble,
thinking of others
as better than yourselves.

Don’t look out only
for your own interests,
but take an interest
in others, too. Philippians 2:3-4

So, do compare
______________

Comparison IS NOT a thief of joy.
When you compare others with yourself,
one that usually brings
clarity & sets you apart from others.

God differentiates His children
from the children of the world,
the righteous from the unrighteous,
the holy from the unholy ones.

🔥 You can be sure of this:
The Lord set apart the Godly for Himself.
The Lord will answer when I call to Him.
Psalm 4:3

So, do compare

Comparison has different connotations.
So, get the context right.
Therefore, comparison is a thief of joy,
but it is not universal.

The truth is,
🔥 the Word of God is,
ALIVE and powerful.
Heb 4:12.

Meaning, the Word is not
dogmatic but pragmatic.
So, do not be religious or legalistic,
they murdered God.

The Word of God is LIVING.
LIFE is found,
in whatever situation & wherever,
the Word is spoken, written & released.

You can almost hear the Word breathes.
An understatement,
or an exaggeration? To some,
they believe, eat and live out the Word.

Dear God,

Grant me the wisdom to discern
and distance myself from the
comparison that kills, steals, & destroys
but leverage on the ones
that give a rich & satisfying life.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.
