WHO ARE THE IMPERFECT PEOPLE ?

WHO ARE THE IMPERFECT PEOPLE ?

Hi my friends, welcome to the TRANSPHORMIUM Podcast.

Reading from Charles’ recently published article on 8th of March 2021. At the end of this article, you will be able to answer these 3 questions.

  1. Which verse in the Bible says that none of us meets God’s standards ?

  2. What is the best way to learn about the things of God from someone ?

  3. Who is our common enemy ?

Now, let’s get into the topic.

i am aware that, whatever i am going to share with you now, may shatter my credibility. Yet i am not ashamed to tell you, of my weaknesses as a human being. If it helps you to change the way you think about the things of God, i am willing to share my vulnerabilities, letting go of my ego; just to keep you vigilant and learn the Way God wants you to learn. So here we go.

NO ONE IS PERFECT

Everyone makes mistakes, including you and i. All fall short of God’s standards as reflected in Romans 3:23. i do not know about you, but this verse humbles me, makes me feel not arrogant. Knowing this changes the way i treat people.

LOVE PEOPLE

Let’s go back to the things of God. Always use the Bereans’ approach – Acts 17:11. They read and researched the Word of God themselves beside learning from their church leaders, not wanting to pick up the subtle & wrong doctrines, from their godly-intention but human being church leaders. Church leaders can make mistakes, so do you. If lesson learnt is correct, it reinforces. If lesson learnt is conflicting, do not be quick to judge, seek first to understand then only explain your disagreement. Be kind to them, as you would do to yourself. If you want to apply God’s 2nd greatest commandment, this is a good place to start.

Mark 12:31 says that, “The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”

NEVER BELITTLE PEOPLE

Church leaders, do not be envious, give destructive criticism or belittle other people’s ministries. Other people can also criticise yours, destructively. But some refrain, fearing the judgement from God, when they have to give an account of what they would have said in front of Him on Judgement Day. Likewise, members of the body of Christ, it is despicable to hear members of the body of Christ gossiping and slander one another. You can imagine how repulsive and disgusting God feels. Imagine a part of your own body oozing out pus or rotting away. Part of the body perhaps need to be surgically removed, so that it will not spread.

GOD DISCIPLINES

And if you are a non Christian listening or reading this, Christians are not perfect people, just like you. Some are baby Christians, even they are old in age, and some are mature Christians. Let God deal with them, and discipline them as He says He will.

John 15:2 says,”He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.”

THE REAL ENEMY

We are also taught not to fight with one another, Christians or non Christians. Some of us need to be reminded of God’s instructions. We are taught also to love our enemies. Is hostility and tension between man growing ?

Luke 6:27-28 says, “But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.”

Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”

By simply referring to John 10:10, we can judge wisely, whether a situation is from God or from the devil.

John 10:10 says, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”

So, my friends, do not lose sight, the devil is our common enemy, not the flesh and blood.

If you can relate to what has been written and spoken, please share this article. Your ‘little sharing’ action can make a huge difference. God willing, people will wake up, just like Saul of Tarsus, with their scale removed from their eyes, and transformed. Let’s make the world a better place. Knowing Him, He is saying this to us, “Do your part, and I will do Mine.”

3 Massive Actions

Now, give YOURSELF something to do, and understand why you are doing them.

Here are the 3 Massive Actions you can take :

    1. Know this, you are as imperfect as the person you despise & condemn. So do not be arrogant. Practice the 2nd Greatest Commandment.

    2. Read the Word yourself. Beware, i can tell you the wrong thing. Sign up for jOURney as soon as possible.
